Heats up fast and evenly. The Techno Release works well. I've used it for frying and it cleans up easily.
I've been cooking for over 40 years and this is one of the better sauté pans I've used. The stainless steel construction is solid and conducts heat beautifully. The Techno Release finish really does help with sticking, though I still use a little oil. I love that it's dishwasher safe because my hands are not what they used to be. The pan is heavy but manageable. It has become my everyday pan for everything from searing to simmering. I highly recommend it.

It's a nice pan but the handle gets hot with prolonged use. Otherwise, it cooks evenly.
This pan is fine, but there are a few things to note. The oven safe to 500°F is great, I used it under the broiler. The Techno Release is decent, but not the best nonstick I've seen. It says dishwasher safe, but I've noticed the finish dulls a bit after a few washes. The handle is comfortable and riveted. It's a good all-purpose pan, but not perfect.

I bought this to replace a cheap nonstick that was peeling. This one is much better. The surface is truly nonstick for me - I've made eggs with just a spray. It's also dishwasher safe which is a huge plus. The lid is glass and fits well, so I can monitor cooking without lifting it. The pan is heavy, but I expected that. I've used it almost daily for a month and it still looks new. I would definitely buy again.

I'm a retired chef and I've used professional pans for years. This T-fal is a good home pan. It heats evenly and the Techno Release is surprisingly good. I've used it for risotto and it didn't stick. The only complaint is that the handle could be larger for big hands. But for the price, it's a great buy. I'd give it 4.5 stars.
