If the grinder seems slow or clogs, check that the meat is well-chilled and cut into 1-inch cubes. Trim excess sinew and fat. Avoid overfilling the tray—feed a steady stream so the auger can pull meat through. If the plates feel stuck, disassemble, clean, and dry all parts before reassembling.
