The set of three works, but the felt is thinner than I expected. It still prevents my stainless pots from rubbing each other, though I would not trust it with my Le Creuset if someone slammed the cabinet. For normal stacking, it does the job. I appreciate that they are black, because they don't show grease spots. If you need to protect expensive cookware, these are better than a towel but not a full buffer.
